Return Policy

You're shopping experience and product satisfaction are paramount to HomeOutdoors. The majority of deliveries are excepted and signed for by our customers without any issues however, we understand that a product can't arrive damaged have missing parts or be defective. Please see below for more information on our return policy and procedures.

Returns

Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Many of our suppliers offer different return policies, and HomeOutdoors must abide by those terms returns. Must be postmarked between 10 to 30 days from delivery. Please contact us for return details on your specific product.

It is important that you return is treated with the utmost urgency so we may process a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number well in advance of the postmark deadlines. 

All return items must be in new and unused condition, with all original packaging, assembly instructions, manual(s), tags and labels included. Products must not be installed or assembled.

Return Process

To return an item please email customer service at info@thehomeoutdoors.com to obtain a RMA number ,which is required in order to process your return. Our customer service will provide you with detailed instructions on how to return your order.

If it is determined that the product must be returned. You must supply us with an adequate number of photos of its current condition, for your protection in case there is damage on the return shipment.

Crate, carton and/or packaging including manuals, packing slips, parts, etc. must all be included and package securely.

After our suppliers receive an inspector return, your refund will be issued.

If a product you wish to return, qualified for free shipping and is not damaged or defective, all shipping costs to and from are deducted from the refund. Various suppliers charge a restocking fee, which will also be deducted from the refund.

Refund will be issued to the original credit card used during purchase only. Please note that credit card refunds may take 5-10 business days for the refund to show  on your statement.

Damaged, Defective or Missing Parts

Before signing for your product and/or accessories, carefully inspect package for any visible damage.

If your package arrives with significant damage, please take photos of all sides of the shipment to document is conditioner and note "Shipment Damaged" on the bill of landing (BOL).You do you have the right to refuse delivery if the shipment is damaged please contact us immediately via email and include your complete name, order number, shipping address and phone number and attach the photos to info@thehomeoutdoors.com

If your package arrives with some minor damage to the packaging, please mark "Received with Possible Concealed Damage" on the BOL when the delivery is signed for. If upon opening and inspecting your product and/or accessories, there is in fact some damage please email us a copy of the BOL including the "Received with Possible Concealed Damage" statement clearly visible. You must include an adequate number of photos, to help us determine the extent of the damage so we can process an insurance claim on your behalf. We will work as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.  

Depending on the extent of the damage, we were either arrange for a replacement part to be sent to you, or exchange the damaged product for a replacement usually within five business days. 

If we do not receive any report of damage or missing parts within 48 hours of signing for your order, we will consider delivery complete, and in good condition. 

If it appears that a product is defective, please notify us at info@thehomeoutdoors.com. We will work with our suppliers to resolve the issue(s). Please include your complete name, order number, shipping address, and phone number.

Please keep all packaging materials in case the product has to be returned. It is your responsibility to ensure that any returned product(s) is adequately package and protected from further damage during the return. Any damage that occurs during the return from inadequate packaging will result in additional charges, and or restocking fees.

Return Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: whatever address we provide unique to the order or manufacturer 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $120, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cant guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Cancellations

Orders through HomeOutdoors may be cancelled within 24 hours of placed purchase, with no fees. If you wish to cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase, please call customer service at 800-485-8747. Any cancellations made after 24 hours from placing your order, will be subject to a 5% (of the purchase price) cancellation fee, whether or not the order has shipped. If your order has shipped and qualified for free shipping, all shipping costs (to and from) are deducted from the refund. Some suppliers charge a restocking fee, which will also be deducted from the refund, if applicable.
