Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • Is it okay to use on a porch with a ceiling?

Yes, you can use this on your porch, as long as you have an open porch (not an enclosed porch) and maintain a 3′ clearance from combustibles above the top reflector. If needed, the stove pipe may also be adjusted to accommodate lower roof clearances. Reducing the stove pipe will affect the efficiency slightly. Heat will be reduced by 100 degrees for every foot taken out. However, this is not enough to feel a huge difference in heat output. We recommend placing the heater on a non-combustible surface such as the heater pad, concrete or tile.
